Simon and John give advise on how to apply for jobs, how to managing your data/privacy and how to manage conflicts that may occur during this process.

We discuss creating a good LinkedIn profile, the importance of constantly updating your online profile, work status, how to filter requests and the best way of using the LinkedIn platform.

We then moved onto the relevance of online job boards, how to work with them and the various language issues that may present themselves in Japan.

Lastly, we discussed whether it’s best to apply directly to jobs or through a recruitment agency and what’s the best ways to build a long term relationship with your recruiter.
